Ties & Arrows
{Partners & Spade}
Spotted these hand painted neckties on Partners & Spade. They are made of raw canvas. I can picture a bunch of weddings that these ties would go well with to dress up the groom and his boys...and I've got to say...they are pretty neat.
Need a gift for your a special man in your life? Groom, Dad, Brother? or may you or your friends like awesome finds and quirky pieces....head on over to Partners & Spade

Refreshed and Lovely
{Kate spade's tumblr & pasteled}
Its been a bit quiet in our camp the past couple weeks. I just started a new job and for the past weeks Ive been straddling two jobs because while going though my last few weeks, Ive also been working and training for my new job...so that lead to loooong days.
With everything settled down and back to having "one" regular job, I can finally get back to having a life....and getting back to refreshing my blog.
Ive been wanting to refresh the blog for a couple weeks now and just open all the windows, letting all the air and light in. Weddings are definitely one of my loves...but I really want to shine the light on other things I love.
So be prepared to see a little more variety here on the blog, not just wedding related posts, but on a plethora of subjects. You'll start seeing more Interior styling and home making (I like to call "domesticating") , and fashion; my favorite style icons, outfits, online stores, and who knows what else. Why the mix up? I feel like all these aspects reflect on my personality and my style and my inspirations which intern inspire my weddings and ideas....which i hope inspire you!!
I love the above image. It is so refreshing and glamorous!!

Simple steps to happiness
{moritz resl via Swissmiss}
Love this graphic by Moritz Resl...I might just need to get this for the home. Its simple, do things you like....don't do things you don't like. And in case you are a visual learner like myself, you will appreciate this flow chart.
But seriously, as simple as it may seem, its nice to have a reminder to: 1) keep it simple 2) and surround yourself with all things positive and all things you love.
I really want to embrace that here on the blog so we have some new stuff coming up....with the simple premise of "things we like (...and love)"
good night loves
xoxo

Flower Feature: Anemones
Today I want to put the spotlight on special little flower that packs a big punch when included in floral decor. Anemones...
I especially love how they add classiness to a very sophisticated black and white wedding palette.
I love the slight tinge of powder pink in these pictured below and how they can also dress up and compliment a vintage rustic look.
Black and white too plain for you? Still like the structure of these beauties? Dont you worry, they come in many colors...including...
RED!!

A 1920's wedding: Joann+Jon
Todays wedding is from the talented photog duo of Paco & Betty . They Shot the wedding of Joann and John, which was dripping with 1920's dreaminess...and their photography skills definitely added to the effect. With Nestledown, in the Santa Cruz Mtns set as the backdrop to their nuptials, Joann and Jon said "i do" amongst family, friends, towering trees, and an amazing amount of well thought out detail that just made for a perfect event.
Little vignettes showcasing the couples love for vintage and antiques, according to Green Wedding shoes
gorgeous facilities and backdrop at Nestledown
Seriously, what is not to love about their wedding?! The fashion was impeccable and I especially love the newspaper boys handing out their newspaper programs (How Genius...and fitting). Her Monique Lhuillier dress is totally gorgeous and fits her an their event to a T.
All their details are so effortlessly amazing, from their vintage antique vignettes, to wooden menu boards, carved wood centerpiece holders, succulents, perfectly executed dessert table, and super cute table numbers.
